Hello

We have at the moment the ZUP file placed at

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data

All users will soon get new PC's and therefore i need to change the location for the ZUP file to prevent loosing personal settings.

Can I move the location to a server? All users will have the same personal server harddrive letter - for example H:\Navision\
This is a part of the server hard disk and not the own hard disk in their PC.

I am "only" superuser of the Navision 3,70 system and not IT develloper so i need a good and detailed answer.... O:)

Can anyone please help me? [-o<

In the shortcut to start Navision, you can add ID="H:\Navision\%USERID%.zup".
With %USERID% the Windowsuser that starts Navision.
This will read (or create if no file is found) a zupfile with that name.

    One correction. It's %USERNAME% instead of %USERID%

Be sure you copy their existing zup file to the new location if you don't want them to lose current settings. It won't automatically do this for you just because the location is changed.
