Build No and issues fixed

I was looking at this link

At the bottom it has the updates for sp3 with build no.
What is interesting is that Update 4 build no is higher than 5.
The code was obviously split at some point for v5.
Update 4 has a higher and newer build, which means the issue is also in 5.0 version. I couldn't find any KB article for 5.0 for any updates? Will MS release a service pack for 5.0? the naming convention will confuse everybody.
3 tierd 5.1 should be called 5.5 or something.
