Modifying the "Send Report by Email" Function

We'd like to email all our purchase order confirmations instead of faxing them.

It'd be a great help if we could autopopulate the "to" field of the email ( outlook ) with the email address from the customer card.. is a modification like this even possible?

Yes it's possible. You can look in this link on how to create pdf files out of the order confirmation. then Use the mail management code unit to send the email with the attachment.

Can i write code at "Report by Email" there? coz i wish to add customer email address at there..mean whenever user click "Report by Email" then outlook will send mail to respective customer by read their email address at customer card there.
