    Ara3n:
I followed you instructions to run Adjust Cost by Item. But I got a couple of question.

I dont have function InvtToAdjustExist(VAR ToItem : Record Item) on codeunit 5895.
CopyItemtoItem I dont have such function either.

I use Navision 3.70 (executable) but If I am right the core es 3.10.

    thank you in advance

Adjust cost has been changed a lot in every version. So I don't think it this would apply for versions before 3.6.

    Hi all,

    I'm upgrading Navision database Nav4.0 SP3 to Nav2009.
As guided in upgration manual, very first process should be to run "Adjust cost Item entries" batch.

Client(using mfg with item tracking) Database is with 4500000 Item ledger entries with DB size 50 GB. It's taking too long in completing batch job... still running. It has been more than 30 hrs & still we are looking each other's face....

last time, we ran batch 3 months before. Right now screen is with 'Not responding' caption........ ](*,)
Is it mendatory to run Adjust Cost batch before migration????
    waiting for quick reply.

    thanks in advance,
    mahesh

On what kind of hardware are you running it? and why hasn't Adjust cost been run in Production? It is suppose to run every day in production. The process can be skipped but I cannot guarantee that your cost will be correct.

I looked up OPR but can't find a definition

    I'm guessing it's Production Order.

I'm also guessing you are on 4.0 version. I'm also guessing that you have in inventor setup Automatic Cost Adjustment setup to always.

There have been many fixes done to adjust cost process. I suggest to load the latest service packs and see if you still get the error.
Implementing Service pack takes time to merge, so I do a quick test in a throw away database, load the object and try to post your order.
If this doesn't solve it, then it's time to debug the issue.

The post is almost 2 months old so I'm guessing it's no longer an issue.
