Problem with DBREADONLY parameter

rorororo Member Posts: 13
Hello,
we want to set native db to read only mode.
Now the Navision client is run with parameter ID=xyz.zup.
When we add new parameter (ID=xyz.zup, dbreadonly=Yes), database is opened for insert operation (we can't see [Read Only] at the header of the window).

Can you help me solve this problem?

With Best Regards

May be better way will be to clear all "Insert, Modify and Delete" permissions on all roles (excluding SUPER role!). In this way you can be sure that nobody will change the database - e.g. when he will use another shortcut to start NAV...
