1.) Goto to Relationship Management
2.) Open up the Contact Card
3.) Click on the Functions button
4.) Select the 'Link with existing' menuitem
5.) Select one of the options (Customer, Vendor, Bank).
Does that help?
Good luck!

Please be aware that you can only link a person contact to Customer, Vendor or Bank after you've entered the Company No. for this person. This also goes for creating a Customer, Vendor or Bank via the Contact card.
(Tested in Navision 3.60 and Navision 3.70)
But maybe Shan could tell us what he wants to do, so that we may help him a bit further?

First of all thanks for your intiatives to solve my problem.
The scenario is like this.
We are proposing MBS Attain - CRM for a bank.
The bank contacts can either be a company or an individual person.
When the contact is a individual person we need to assign business relationship like Customer, Prospective Customer, Accountant, Lawyer to that contact.
The contact (individual person) is independent of any company and we cannot assign a company to this contact.
Well, the first thing that comes to mind is: if it is an individual (i.e. 1 person) why don't you register him as a company. That will help you to overcome the problem of not being able to register this person as a customer (i.e. a customer card) etc.
But then again: do you really want to make a customer card of these people's contact cards? I think that I might have misunderstood the Business relationship. You mean the Business Relationship codes that are in the Setup of Relationship Mgt. Am I right? In that case my remarks above may not be necessary.
A good alternative for Business Relationship codes might be the Profile Questionnaires. Here you may enter your own questions and answers. Why not create a questionnaire that is linked to the Contact Type "person" with the question "Business Relationship" and the answers ""Customer, Prospective Customer, Accountant, Lawyer etc"?
In the Contact card you go to Contact, Profiles to answer the questions that are appropriate for the active contact. Going back to the contact card you will find the questions answered in the lines.
Profiles can be used to create segments. Instead of entering the Business Relation codes as a filter for a segment, you choose your questionnaire and the answer.
Does this help you, Shan? Good look with your proposal. Should you require more help: just post another message and I'll see what I can do for you .

Thank you Hansfousert. Your solution of using profile questionaire have worked perfectly.
But one issue need to be addressed.
i.e If we are going to convert the Person contact (Profiled as prospective Customer) into Customer(Customer Card - Sales & Receivables) the system throws a error message saying "Contact No doesn't exist".
Effectively the system doesn't allow a Person Contact to be created as Customer or Vendor.
Is there a Way out??
In that case I would like to go back to my 1st remark:
