Corrupted SIFT Values

I noticed that in combination with SQL Server 2005 it happens from time to time that theres a difference in between calculating the Item Inventory (field "Inventory", table item) using CALCFIELDS and summing up the item ledger entry table.

It seems that somehow the SIFT tables inside the SQL Server are not updated correctly.

Used Version is:
NAV DACH 4.00 SP2.

I know using SP3 would be the first guess ...

My question is:
Has anybody found this problem too and found a solution (or the cause) instead of just hoping the next NAV version cures this ?
=(there is no question that cannot be used if we use our brain)=

Use the 4.00SP3 client. This fixes several problems:
-4.00SP3 or later must be used with SQL2005.
-There was also a problem with SIFT-fields in SP1 and also in SP2 when renaming records. This is solved in 4.00SP3.
