Hello all,
I have pb in SQL Option.
I had an account with many entries, because i found that No of Account is wrong and on the form Chart of Accounts i changed
Expamle :
Old No : 713910
New No : 713917
When i changed it, it's entries following.
But when i use filter by Date filter (use Shift+F7), i typed 31/12/06.
I see the value on the column Debit Amount + Credit Amount, but i click the Assist Button, no entries was shown.
The truth is that, no entries at 31/12/06 so with filter Date Filter 31/12/06 no entries were shown it's OK.
But pb is that : I see Amount on Column Debit,Credit and NetChange.
These Amt is "ghost" Amt .
I read the book 8404A, it's said that SIFT is implemented in SQL option is much different than Ms NAV Database server. SQL server : SIFT system
worked with SIFT table on SQL Server and i think that this table is not updated when i changed the No.
I think this the pb , but i don't know how to solve it ???
Anybody help me pls [-o<
Thanks,
HN

Hi,
Try to go to File - Database - Information - Table and find the Table and make an Optimize. The SIFT table will be regenerated.
Best Regards

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I had a solution for this. The solution is in NAV 4.0 SP3 P25 - Error when renaming Records.
