In 4.0, you should have a functions button on the GL Entry form. If you don't, someone removed it.
As a previous poster said, just go to General Ledger > Chart of Accounts > drilldown on the account balance to find the entry that needs reversed > Click Functions > Reverse Transaction.
Your other option is to find the entry number for the GL entry and go to General Ledger > History > Registers > Find your entry in the "From"-"To" columns. When you find it (or the range that includes the entry) click Functions > Reverse Register.
Keep in mind the reverse only works for transactions created through a journal. If it's a sales or purchase document, you need to issue a credit memo.
In Form 20 "General Ledger Entries" (Version List NAVW14.00) there is a menu button with caption Functions and a menu item "Reverse Transaction..."
Please check the Version List of your form and whether it has been modified.
