Printing barcode

I have downloaded in the Mibuso download section "Barcode 128 with fonts" solution. All works ok but when I try to read lenght string > 8 it's fail!

Example : 12345678 works but 123456789 NOT!

Why this?
How I can do it?

1) Check if the checksum character is correct
2) Specification can be found e.g. there: http://www.adams1.com/pub/russadam/128code.html
