I installed HotFix 5 for Navision 3.70 (SQL Option) today, and after that I can not open database: I have a error 'TableData 20000000001 does not exist'. Thanks God I did it local on my test server! What to do??? I tried to switch back (old finsql.exe and ndbcs.dll), but database is converted (!!!) and I have a message that I have to upgrade to newer version (means HotFix 5). Do I really must deinstall all and then install HotFix 3&4 only ??

Yep. It seems they changed structure of sql.
Try make backup with navision, upgrade into hf5 and restore into new db.

If I can't open DB from client, that means I can't start client at all,
so I can not restore DB from Navision Client.

If db is converted then there isn't way to return to earler version without backup/restore.
Sorry. MSBS forgot warn us again this possibility to lose good DB. You was the first who found it.
Now nobody will upgrade into hf5 sql without backup.
But you must use hf5, because of performance.

If I understood well, you mean SQL Server Backup/Restore, not that one in Navision Client (Tools Menu)?
Ya, performance, of course it is important. But only if it works at all...

OK, at the end I created new database and import data from backup.
I didn't expect it for just one HotFix :((
And there is not any warning on Navision partnerguide web.
My local test-DB is small, but what heppend when live DB is about 300 GB?

We have the same problem. We can reproduce the error if the company name has a "special character" like ".", ",", "ö"......
    What was your "company name"??
