Upgrade to Navision 5.00 license error

I have to do a technical upgrade of a DB from 3.10 to 5.00.
And I have a table in the range 39.000.000-range in which my developer-license has Execute-permission but NOT modify-permission.
If I convert that DB from 3.10 to 4.00SP3, I don't have a problem.
If I convert that DB (in a 3.10 or 4.00SP3-client) to 5.00, Navision 5.00 gives an error that I don't have permission the change the table.
I have the error both native as SQL.
Someone knows about this problem and how to fix it (apart from upgrading the license with the add-on)?

Hello Kriki
The reason you are getting the error is because 5.0 sets the Cluster key on all the tables, this marks the tables as modified. which is causing the error.0 -
I tried to preset the Clustered key in a 4.0 db, but when upgraded to 5.0, It still went through all the tables and modified them.
There is no workaround, except getting a license that gives you modified permission, or call MS for a hotfix.0 -
Good luck on the hotfix! I had the same error which according MS is caused by loading a Lanham object.
My choice: wait on hotfix or do a Navision backup in v4, go to Nav 5, create new database, then restore Navision backup.
Navision restore completed successfully - still waiting on hotfix!David Machanick

what about the cluster index on PK are they all not set?0

A Navision backup is not possible (150GB and the downtime-Window we have is only a few hours, not a few days).davmac1 wrote:Good luck on the hotfix! I had the same error which according MS is caused by loading a Lanham object.

So let's hope for the hotfix.Regards,Alain Krikilion

Try this way :
Dynamics User Group - Upgrade 4xx EXE to 5.00 with End User licenseDavid Singleton0 -
Your method looks interesting.
