Requisition Worksheet Templates

Hi all!
I want to learn how to use Req. Worksheet Templates? In the help file, it is written that, I can design different templates for different purposes (e.g. Planning Production, Planning Purchases). But, I can only define names of templates, but nothing else. Is this function only used for grouping, if not how can I use the design functionality for the templates?
And also I want to learn about how to use Recurring Req. Worksheets, if anybody knows how to use it.
