MBS-Navision 4.03 Clashing

I have a problem executing a routine in MBS-Navision Dynamics 4.3.

I successfully communicate to an Access database 9 times out of 10. I can read from the access database and pick off data to transport back into Navision. I open up the Access Database as Read only as I don't need to write back.

The 1 time Navision bombs out with no error codes other than MBS-Navision has encountered a problem and needs to close message.

Any hints how I can start to work out why Navision keeps clashing from time to time!
