Hi,

We have a problem on Navision 3.60 (native database) whereby we seem to be unable to create or modify any objects - we are just getting the message 'You do not have permission to create/read/modify/delete etc..'.

The user we are logging in with has the SUPER role for the current company and we are using a full Navision solution developer license. We have been using Navision for a few years now but have never seen this before.

Any help appreciated because we are ](*,)

Thanks,

Jonathan

Please post the entire message. Which object number are you trying to use? Is this with any object number? Did someone modify the permissions of the SUPER role?

    Hi,

Just to add to this - I've found that if I change the user's role allocations so that the Company column is blank (meaning apply to all companies) then we are able to modify objects.

Well there's your answer. NAV objects are database wide, so if a person does not have database wide permissions, then they should not be permitted to modify objects.
