can't restore a backup...

i successfully backed up a database...now when i try to restore, it says, "restoration of the backup was interrupted because the company 'so and so company, inc.' is already in the database.
how can i get around this please..

When restoring, you first need to create a blank database. Or you could rename the current active company, and then restore your backup.

You can restore a database vithout a new, blank database. Only you must do is to change a current company name with some temporary name such as "test company Inc." Then you try a database restore.
