Deadly Mix: Windows Vista, MS SQL 2005 and Navision 4.00 SP3

Hello all,

I was wondering if we are the only people experiencing this issue.

We are running Navision 4.00 SP3 on Windows 2003 R2 and MS SQL 2005.

When using the Navision Client on Windows Vista, you can't even make a connection from a Windows Vista machine to Navision. It just crash's immediately.

Error Message:
This program has stopped. Sending the information to Microsoft for a solution.

However if working through a virtual machine(VMware) on a Windows XP machine running a virtual image of Windows Vista it seems to work fine.

I just wanted to know if other people have experienced this problem and if there is anyone out there who has solved this conundrum, let me know what the solution was.

You need to download vista update for sp3 from Microsoft. this will solve your issue.
