There is a way to go on this matter?
Or a method to apply?

    Hi savatage,
I think the best way should be by user profiles(I mean a set of roles by profile).
    Example:
A Purchasing user needs to create Purchase orders, to have access to items, materials, but regarding sales orders he should have access only to see it, but he doesn't needs access to general ledger, but yes he needs access to accounts because he will post their purchase orders.
    am I clear? :)

I'm not sure I know what the question is?

Are you asking, "How do i set up Security, permissions , roles, etc?"

    Yes.
Roles that we have in navision have no restrictions, so everybody can access to everything.

if you use the Navision Online Help goto the index tab & type in keyword "Security".

It will give you links to:
    -Creating Database logins
    -Creating Windows logins
    -Giving Database Logins a Role
-Giving Windows Users or Groups a Role
    -Creating Roles
    -Modifying Permissions for Roles
    -Assigning Permissions to Multiple Objects
    -Security Filters
    Etc.

Here's an older version Of Nav Essentials - there is a chapter on security

    Yes.

Then those roles are not set up very well are they? You can restrict everything exactly the way you want with roles and permissions, you just have to know how to do it.

Most probably end up with each user having his/her own permissions when individuals in the same dept are having their own rights...
