Error message got while try to change unit of measure

I try to change the unit of measure in the item card.

i got message - there is open entries releted to this item you can not change unit of measure.


then i got to item ledger entries and check the related entry the entry is i found is open.

i check the purchase order related to that item it completed post.

So what how to close the entry so i can chage the unit of measure..

Open entries means, Remaining Qty is greater than zero.
Item stock should become zero

so what can i do to close the entry. i post Purchase order for 10 item and i received 10 item and i alreday post it. so PO is close completed..what can i do to item stock become 0.

sell them or neg adjust them out or purchase return

I personally never like changing the "BASE Unit Of Measure" especially if it has some decent history. I Usually create a new Item number transfer the merch from old to new # & block the old number.

I Block the code which is going to check the Open entries i tested it it's work fine..

any one tell me if is this make effect to open entries if user change the unit of measure it the entries is still open...
