In the older versions of Navision it was possible to have many different versions on the same computer.
Now you have to use software like Virtual PC and load the software on the virtual machines. There's another software package the MS advises but I can't remember the name.0 -
Normally it doesn't hurt if you just install Navision client once and do the installation of the next client(s) just bei copy the files.
There might be some problems with external DLL files, but normal client works fine.

I only have the latest version actually installed, and I have copies of the client folder of all older versions on the same computer. Like TA says that works as long as you only need to be in NAV. Once you need to communicate to external apps you'll have to go to VPC's.0

You can istall one of the versions and simply copy the client folder of another veriosn and paste it on to any of desired location on your computer and access the fin/finsql whichever u want to use. I have done this before...and there is no issue if u do the same.Diptish Naskar

While you do this, Care must be taken to avoid opening a database with the wrong client.
I have used the CodeGenius Program to overcome this. I used it to Organized the Various Databases that I Access either Locally or on the Network.
You Could get the CodeGenius from the Download Section.Sunday, Godwin G0
