Retrieving data from related entities with js

I have a requirement to filter a contact lookup to only show
contacts that are from the related account. This lookup is on a
custom entity that does not have a direct relationship to the
account. The relationship is 1:M from the account to custom
entity-1, and then 1:M from custom entity-1 to custom entity-2.
The lookup resides on custom entity-2. I am at a loss as to how
to retreive the account guid on the onload event so that I can
set the additional parameters on the lookup.
