ODBC, Word-Excel

I have a template in word that it's connected with one file in excel by ODBC to do "printing series"!

When I call the word through the NAV, i have the following codelines:

TemplateName := 'C:\Template.doc';
IF NOT CREATE(wdApp,FALSE) THEN ERROR('WORD couldn't start');
IF NOT EXISTS(TemplateName) THEN ERROR('File %1 not found',TemplateName);
wdApp.Visible(TRUE);
wdApp.Activate;
wdDoc := wdApp.Documents.Add(TemplateName);

The word document it's opened but the values in the document excel not appear in the document word. The connection ODBC isn't active, the problem will be this? How I can activate the connection?

Best Regards

    I don't know exactly what you are doing.

    But I probably need to use VBA inside word document, not inside Navision.

    If are filling Word document with data from Navision then you need to use automation and not ODBC.
