Hi,
I read from the Online Help that you can revalue an item or a specific item ledger entry.
I have done as follows:
Open the Revaluation Journal window.
In the Item No. field, select the item to revalue and click OK.
In the Applies-to Entry field, I have selected the Item Ledger Entry to be revalued for the item and clicked on OK.
I am getting the following message:
You are not allowed to use location.
Please advise.
Regards,
Beatrice.

Thanks for reply.
The system does not allow me to specify or change the Location Code on the Revaluation journal line.

Hi Beatrice,
off hand I can not think of a standard Navision message like this, is it possible you have some modifications that generate this message. If not, maybe you have not transcribed the message exactly.David Singleton0 -
You can revaluate costing per location per item in standard Navision.
Try your scenario in a plain, unmodified database to see if you're still getting that error message. If not, then your error is created by a modification done specifically for your company.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
