Business Analytics SP2 and license file

Hi,
I've download the last version of BAS (SP2) which now enables me to get connection to analysis services 2005. However when I try to make of use my navision license I get some problems. Through the enterprise manager of BAS I could choose wether to enter the key of the license or to import the license.
When I try to import the license file it asks me a .xml file instead of a .flf file as I thought. when I enter my license key it writes "incorrect license".

So I don't know how I can make use of my lnavision license in BAS SP2 or if BAS gets now its own license different from the navision license.
Somebody can help me?
P.S: my navision license gets Business analytics advanced and I've already correctly used it in my navision 4.0 SP1 and BAS with configurator.

Thank you for your help

The license must be configured through running Configurator.exe which is used by BA Basic. Just run it manually without parameters.

Very interesting. I've always thought one have to select Server->Advanced Business Analytics->Configure from the installation menu to choose the license. Are we talking about the same? :?

Yes, we are. But what you described is when you are using Targit BA with Targit license but not with Nav license

The BA Advanced is product of Targit and not Microsoft. They are selling it separately. All the tools are used for that purpose. The License function in Enterprise Management for BA is used for importing license purchased from Targit. To be able to use this Targit solution with Nav, Microsoft has some special agreement with Targit. And because Microsoft is using NAV license to unlock BA from Targit, you need to run Microsoft Configurator (same exe you are using to generate the cubes from NAV). You just needs to run it manually (directly, not from NAV) by clicking onthe configurator. It will ask you for NAV client folder and it will check the license placed there for special granule (BA ADvanced) and after that it will license the BA Advanced for you (and will connect ANT Server to NAV cube).

However it seems that the configurator doesn't exist in the last version of BAS (SP2). I can't see it in my BAS intallation folder neither among the .exe files that we have received for BAS SP2.
So in this case I don't know how to make use of the Navision license...

See folder BABasic on BA install CD. Or you can download the configurator for NAV 4.00 SP3.
