Hello again
I willing to know the average cost of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4 SP3 with some 20 users with following granules with manufacturing:
Can some one help to find the information to convince our management to go ahead for this?
Please note that the following list copied from a friend of mine's company which has a similar operation like ours.
<REMOVED ON REQUEST OF OWNER>, SORRY
Thank you

The lowest price I have seen for a Navision implementation I worked on was somewhere around $40,000. The most expensive (for one Navision server) was just under $3,000,000. I would be pretty comfortable saying that your system should fit somewhere in that range
Sorry, but there are just so many issues involved, that to quote based on "granules that your friend has" is just not possible. [-(David Singleton0 -

We are a process manufacturing business and our implementation was around $500,00. However, this did include other areas of the business, not just manufacturing. We have three locations with roughly 100 users, pushing Navision SQL via Citrix.Readers are plentiful; thinkers are rare.0

$500.00 bucks! Who's your guy!
I thinks it's a typo 500,000.
We don't manufacture we distribute and years ago it was between 100 & 150 thou. It all depends on how many granuals you REALLY need and how much customization you want.
Sit down with a few companies and have them make you proposals.0 -
Nope. You can't buy Navision based on granules anymore. It's priced based on users now. Essentially, you get most of the granules in Navision using the Business Ready licensing model.
Each user cost around $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 depending on the number of sessions you purchase.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

here is a solution center that has a basic cost estimate worksheet you can fill out. 20 advanced users, with training, implementation ect, runs about $180,000 US

20 x $4,000 = $80,000, = cost of license,
so are they saying that Training, Implementation etc is FREE !!!!!
Sounds like a good deal to meDavid Singleton0 -

Basically what they are suggesting is the implemention cost is going to be equal to the software cost. so software 80K, implement 80K, 1st year maintenance and margin of error, another 20K
Extra granuals, extra implementation,
hardward all the rest is separate, this is just the navision cost.0 -
Thank you all for the reply.
Based on the comments above, I confidently feel that we now have got a BEST deal with our MS Partner and placed the PO for 20 users to start with!"A bove maiore discit arare minor"-"From the old ox, the young one learns to plow."0 -
