Dear All...

After we install Navision, why two license files- fin.flf and CRONUS.flf is available in client folder? What is the use/ need of two different license files?

There are no need for two license files for NAV. When you import license file from NAV client, system create file called fin.flf. If you have your company license and import it in to the system, then in your client directory is file fin.flf. But if your licence expires or you need to open functionality which is not included in your company license, than You can use Demo license cronus.flf.

cronus.flf is the demo license. If you have your fin.flf installed correctly, NAV will ignore the cronus.flf, and you can even delete it.

If you have a server/client environment. The .flf in your client folder should not matter at all since it will read the license file from your server.
