NAV 5.0 (SQL Option)- 'Searching for servers' question

Hi.
I was wondering if somebody knew how to fix the following.
First, let me say that we don't have a domain controller for our network... We have been working with NAV 4 for a while now and even though the documentation (for both NAV4 and NAV5) says that without active directory, NAV clients on a network are not supposed to see available servers in the Server name lookup of the Open Database window, we have been able to do so. But when running NAV5's finsql, and when doing the same lookup, it does not seem like any of the clients is doing a search for available servers (like in NAV 4). We are able to manually type the server name and we have no problem connecting to our databases but it's the initial research that is not happening. Any idea?

I don't know what you mean, when I lookup in the server name I see all available servers.

if you are using active directory, you see the servers, otherwise, you only see your own server. It's one of the features they've added to make you setup active directory/by MS server boxes.
