Pick Worksheet & Pick List

Hi all,

This is actually a two part question related to the Warehouse module in Navision 4.0

a) Is it possible to create multiple Pick List for each shipment from the Pick Worksheet?

or

From the Purchase Order, click on Functions >>> Create Inventory Pick?

b) Is it possible to post multiple Pick Lists from the Inventory Pick form?

To start, it's important to understand that warehouse management in Navision gives you the tools to structure your work the way you want. Therefore, although it's pretty easy to create a basic pick ticket, there is really no instruction book on how to use things like the pick worksheet because of the flexibility it creates. In short, your partner (or experienced operations person on your staff) should work with you for the best fit for your business.

The answer to your first question is yes. But without more details my answer can't get any better than that.

If I understand your second question correctly, you want to batch post pick tickets. There is no out of the box functionality for this, you post one at a time. I'm sure someone could write this if necessary but I think that with a little internal planning you could post a lot of picks tickets quickly without a lot of work. Consider barcoding the pick ticket and using a keyboard wedge scanner to find the pick in Navision - then simply pressing F11 will post the pick.
