Does User Portal requires licensing? If so, what specific granule would I check out from our client's license file?

Thanks and Best Regards!

please tell me you mean the employee portal, not the user portal! You really don't want to use the user portal...

if so: the employee portal uses employee portal users, which are on the std pricelist.

Forget about user portal. It was a crappy product to start out with, and it is no longer supported. If you mean Employee Portal, understand that unless you know how to create a NAV webpart, you are limited to just the ones that come with the product CD.

You want to check the Web Users granules on the pricelist. Any users logging in through employee portal or user portal will require a web user license.
