Problem with "TableData 50028 Does Not Exist" erro

jelittlejohnjelittlejohn Member Posts: 61
I am in the middle of a customized Navision installation. I have one user login who receives "TableData 50028 does no exist" when attempting to run one of my customized functions. No other user has the problem. All users are currently set up identically with total access to all objects.

Since discovering the issue I have logged on as the user with the issue and as a user without. Under the same license and through object designer, the problem user cannot open any table above 50019 while the second user has no problems opening these tables.

I have double and triple checked the permissions table. There are no differences between any of the users. Am I missing something?

Thank you for any and all help,

I would think permissions but since you say you've double & triple check the permissions I must believe you.

Does each user have an individualized linked Zup file?

Jack, this looks a bit like a license problem. Do you have a navision server running or do the users directly open the database?

I understand that all users are SUPER ? So that can't be it. Do you have more than 1 company, maybe you setup rights for the wrong company?

Will the debugger point you in the right direction for this error?

    1) is the problem user (same user on any PC) based or PC based (any user on one PC)?
    2) Which version and which server (SQL, Native)?

    Thanks all.

The debugger is no real help. The error is thrown when the code hits a reference to any table above 50019.

Also the issue is user specific. Same user has the same problem on any machine.

I have since given up and created a new id for this user. As far as I can tell the new user name is identical to the old one except that the user now has no problems. That said, the issue is no longer on the front burner but if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate them.

    Thanks again,
