2 versions of Navision client on the same machine?

Hello,
I had Navision 4.0 SP2 installed, but I needed 3.7A for some tests, so I installed it as a new client installation, but this overwrote the 4.0SP2.
Is there a way to install both versions on the same machine?

Install in 2 different partitions of Hard Disk.

Be careful in opening database as opening db in other version can corrupt or ..... the db.

Best solution for multi version is to have separate shortcut for each version and install it in two different folders of the machine. Please also make sure to have two copies of fin in different folders to have two different zup files.

The answer supplied by Savatage will solve your problem. I have several clients installed in same machine and until now I didn't have any trouble.

But for a full test environment is advisable to run a single installation using an application like virtual pc or similar.

Only install the latest version. Keep a copy of the client folder of previous versions and run the exe's directly from there without installing them. This will only fail if you need to run external components, in which case you can potentially have dll version conflicts.
