I just call it a "forum" so I don't sound like a retard trying to pronouce it.

An example conversion would be:

"Hey, how do you know that guy?"
"Yeah, I met him at an online forum"
"Really? What forum?"
"It's W W W Dot M I B U S O dot com"
"What?"
