Array Report and Totals

I have taken the customer/item sales report and used this to create a report which shows a comparison of sales between two periods. This works OK. However, I wish to put a grand total for the report and I have put a customer footer and tried to create the grand total using createtotals, grand := amount etc etc

When doing this the grand total seems to be the total of the last customer

What am I doing wrong?!

I have also created a difference variable which shows the difference between two periods (as a total for the customer).. Am I able to sort the report by this?

It depends on the DataItem indentation and in which section you are printing the data. More info needed.

hopefully, i think ive sorted it.. i have placed the
TotalInvtQty[1] := TotalInvtQty[1] + InvtQty[1] etc in the on pre section of the value entry footer, and then the Total[1] into the customer footer.. from initial testing, it looks like its sorted.
