I have the following databases:
NF2.60 Customized swedish version
NF2.60 Base english version
NAV4.0SP3 new base version localized to swedish
When reading the upgrade document I instructions to use NLW to translate the Customized swedish version into english. So I started the NLW and created a new project as stated. But then I realized that I had no "Country Base Versions.mdb" that I should have to auto translate the swedish 2.60 into english.
So I tried to create such a project from NF260 Base english version. But when I guess I did it wrong because later on when I tried to use it with the customized version it said that there was nothing to translate.
Is it necessary to do this step in my situation? I have done conv-ml to lift the swedish texts to captionML, but the object and function names are still in swedish and I guess that could be a problem. The NLW program is not included in latest Navision Tool CD though so I thought that maybe this is unneeded.
What should I do?

But as the texts are still untranslated in the database there will be nothing to translate if I use that with the customer swedish version.
So, am I right in my asumption that to get this work I will have to translate the base version for my self and put the swedish translation in the target column. Then I can auto translate the customer version.
Then I guess I can translate the customer version directly instead without using the base version.
Aren't there any other way around this, it is an awful lot of text to translate?
