CFRONT / OCX ::: Is it language neutral, versions etc.

I'm building a small application with VB6 and cfront.ocx. I'm using the files I got from our norwegian Microsoft Navision office.

a) Is the cfront.ocx component I am using language neutral? What I mean is, is there an english version, norwegian version, dutch version, and so on?

b) Cfront.ocx versions: Are there one particular cfront.ocx component for each Navision Attain version. (May I use the same cfront.ocx for different versions of Navision Attain 3.1, 3.3, 3.6, 3.7 + different languages ?)

Regards,

Cfront is specific for a particular Navision Attain Client, ie Attain 3.1 will have its own CFront and so on.

Also CFront is different for Navision Database and SQL Server Database.

NO. Using the same c/f you are able connect to Navision db or SQL/Navision.

    a) Cfront.ocx - YES, if you have overlaped error handling. Else - use language specific stx files.

    b) NO, c/f is different for different version. But you are able load desired dll in the same application.[/quote]
