Hi
what u can do is take the back up of the current compnay whose data is to be duplicated.
After taking the backup rename the company to a new name.
And once this is over restore the backup taken before.
U would thus get a company with the data duplicated.
In case people are working in the company you want to copy :
1. Make a backup of the company (data only)
2. Restore it in a local database
3. rename it in the local database.
4. Make a backup in the local database
5. Restore it in the original database.
The problem with renaming companies is user rights set specificaly for the company. They will be changed to to renamed company, and when the company is restored to the DB the users have no access to it.
Comments
- make a backup of the company
- rename the current company
- restore the backup.

The rename will take most of the time !
Or what you could do is download my little CompanyCopy tool. You can find it in the download section of mibuso.com. It's called CompanyCopy 1.5.
Very handy tool if you just want to copy a couple of tables.
