is navision supports null characters

hi all
i am working on c/ipos(embedded) system to connect with navision
it has its own dll .
i am able to send and receive data from that c/ipos
but i am geting problem while receiving the null characters which is been sent by c/ipos into navision
Navision stops execution when it receives a null character
is navision supports null characters?
can anyone help me in this senario?
