Intercompany Posting - Dimensions Not Passing Through

Hi,

We have a Navision implementation on version 4.00SP2 (SQL 2005) that uses intercompany postings. The postings work fine other than we cannot seem to get the dimensions to pass from a sales invoice through to the purchase invoice in the other company. The dimensions on the sales invoice lines do not even make it as far as being on the document in the IC Outbox.

I've double checked the dimensions are setup in both companies and have setup the 'Map-to Dimension' codes in the IC Dimensions setup.

I can't find any mention of any problems in Knowledge base so wondered if anybody knew of any other reasons for this?

    Did you check in the normal dim value table that the mapping was inserted?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the replies. I've finally got this working now after rechecking all the mappings for the dimensions.

    I think it looks like you have to click the 'Map-to' function on BOTH sides of the dimensions setup - i.e. on the IC Dimension side and the normal company dimensions side. I had assumed that you could click the 'Map-to' option on either side of the equation to create the relationship.
