Is it possible to replicate data from one database to another without using the LS Retail replication functionality

Through SQL2005 there are several replication possibilities... may be you can investigate that ...

    Whats the purpose of replicating.
LS Retail only replicate few transactions and most of them are related to POS. Even with LS retail Direct Navision entries are normally passed. If you are planning to build a complete database replication (In case no add on is available or you dont purchase it) it can be a big time activity.
Moreover does MS Licence allows the same? I doubt

    Hello,

To-Increase from the Netherlands has a nice component named Replication Management. With this component it is possible to create publications based on record changes. It takes table relations into account; for instance: if you change the item unit of measure the item record is also published.

Here is a list with the most important features:
      * Snapshot based replication * Integrated with connectivity studio * Support multiple subscriptions with different filters * Advanced logging and history * Supports meta data when determining record changes * Supports Create / Update / Delete * Metadata based Processing * Replication between two Dynamics™ NAV databases * Every database can act as a publisher and/or as a subscriber * No overlap with standard Dynamic™ NAV objects
