After "control.ACTIVATE": focus is set, but no cur

Hello,
on the form "purchase invoice" I would like to set the next control depending on the value of a variable. So I used the "CurrForm.Control.ACTIVATE" function and the focus is set to the correct control always. But I do not see which control is activated, because the cursor is not visible. Typing in some characters will make the cursor visible again.
How can I always make the cursor visible?
