NAS on SQL (nassql.exe) for W1 3.70 HF5 (Build 14068)

Dear all,
I need a solution to run a NAS on a SQL database, which is based on W1 3.70 HF 5 (Build 14068). There is no nassql.exe besides MBS according to this build.
Only build 13164 (3.70 product CD) and build 16172 (3.70 A or HF 12) are available... but the first one tells me that the database is too new and the second one tells me that it has to convert the DB, because this DB is too old.
A technical is not wanted by the customer (4 DBs with round about 70 GB per DB and several Citrix Servers...).
Has anybody a solution for this problem?
With kind regards,
Stefan

Use the product CD that was used to install NAV at your customer, and you will find the right NAS version. As long as it is from the same product cd, you should be fine.0

Dear Daniel,
the nas (sql-version) on the used product cd is build 13164 and this one tells me, that the database is newer. This is correct, because we are running build 14068 = HF5.
So I am sorry that this doesn't solve our problem.with kind regards,

Dear all:
I just have found out that even nassql.exe Build 14988 should work.
Can anybody provide me with this build?with kind regards,
stefan carle0 -
It sounds to me like the hotfix had a modified nassql.exe, and that was not applied completely. I'm sorry I don't have those files, you will have to get them from MSFT.
I would try to get all hotfixes for your version, and apply all of them.0 -
By the way, there is a page on partnersource with a database archive for the US, I am sure there is one like it for Germany as well. This page also contains all hotfixes and improvements for each version.0

You are absolutely right. BUT: This is a private HotFix and there is no nassql.exe available.
I propose we have no other chance like using other tools from e.g. expandit or doing an update...with kind regards,

First of all I would suggest you get with MSFT and request all hotfixes for your NAV version, including all private hotfixes. Once you explain what your issue is I am sure they will be willing to help out. Even though the version is no longer supporte,d they still have access to those files.
If that fails I would also suggest considering a technical upgrade and take the exe's all the way up to 4.0 SP3.0 -
Seems so... I am currently in contact with MBS - I hope they will send me the needed file.with kind regards,
