I've asked a related question before, but this is somewhat different.
Does Navision have any method of, or any add-ons available to allow a user to quarantine inventory? This is not scrap - it is a need to remove items from circulation, but still see the quantity in inventory.
Thanks.

Let me give you a little more info and see if you still think this. We need to quarantine materials AFTER they have been picked, PRIOR to posting output and consumption. If the materials have to be quarantined, then we need to replace them from the warehouse.
ara3n - This looks to be a stand-alone package, not an add-on to Navision. Am I reading this wrong?

Configure that zone / bin don’t allow direct pick / put away, only internal movements between bins /zones.
Create a Report to replace items in quarantine, using items substitutions or other method.

I've seen the blurb on CustomerSource. Is there a better resource/explanation of the product?
nuomania - we had suggested this to our NSC. We have a bin that is set up as putaway only, and had developed a manual process to do what we wanted. It's kind of a hack, though, and involves temporarily setting the scap percentage to the ratio of # scrapped/total quantity, creating a warehouse movement (to take the items to the scrap bin), creating a pick to satisfy the scrap percentage, and resetting the scrap percentage to 0. Our NSC isn't crazy about it, and told us that it would be difficult to make it work.
I'm honestly kind of surprised that I haven't found a QC module/granule for Navision yet that would have this kind of functionality in it.
