Disabling Key Groups

Hi

We are only using Finance,Purchase and Sales modules in Navision with SQL DB.

which of the following key groups can I disable to increase the performance

Acc(Dim)
Bank(Dim)
ConvLoc
Cust(Curr)
Cust(Dim)
Cust(int)
Item(Dim)
Item(MFG)
Vend(Curr)
Vend(Dim)

    It depends largely on the functionality you are using.
    But it is better to play with MaintainSIFTIndex,MaintainSQLIndex properties of the keys. But this is something for experts to do.

    Without knowing detailed informations about implementation, my recommendation is "try and see".

    We talked recently with Hyvek who actually indicated he implemented these key groups in NAV. His indication was that key groups in general was an implementation that is not yet finished, and all of these can be inactivated.

    Further, he indicated that the linkage is loose, and that even if it says deactivated it isn't necessarily inactivated until you re-deactiveate them.

    Impression he gave was that they can all key groups can be deactivated.

    Except the Pre Payments one, we found that was required..
