Hi all,
is it possible to use a server name different from "localhost" in the log on to dialog box when starting BA Advanced Client? I mean, is it possible to run the BA database on one machine and a client on another one? Or does the client have to be run on the same machine to connect to the database? I am afraid I read this somewhere.
Thank you in advance! :-k

It is not problem, you can connect to the BA Adv. server from any client. But you need to have appropriate permissions for the user on the server. You need to add the user into correct group on the BA Adv. server machine or add the correct user group in BA Adv. enterprise manager.0
