recurring journal

my problem is recurring journals entries are not posted.

1) error comes - there is nothing to post.

first I was purchase item of quantity.then to pass recurring journal
entries but error are come.

2) is the posting date on or before today's date

while posting recurring journal fill all the details which r essential like:recurring methos,recurring frequency,entry type,document no.,item no.,description,Location,quantity,uom,applies to entry.fill all these fields then u'll face no problem.

I am having a similar problem, although today's date is earlier than my posting date (tomorrow). I am trying to get a jump on month end while I have the time available and post journal entries that don't change on a regular basis. Do I really have to wait until tomorrow to post them (without changing the posting date)?
