hi all,

if you look at the numbering of fields in Item Table of Navision it goes from 1 to 108 and then leaps to 5400-5422,5700-5777....6202-6501....

Is there a Numbering Convention they follow?
Regards,

GD

The IDs are in relation to related IDs of objects for the specific module. For example, if I have some module in range 60100..60199 I will use same IDs for all fields added for this module in other objects. Fields in tables in this range will be numbered in standard line beginning by 1 with holes for possible additional columns. If you will use this, it helps you when transfering one module from one DB into another...

Further if the id's are same you can use the command "Transfer Field".
