Integration of Navision with Windows Vista 2007

Hi,

A presentation is scheduled in one week's time on how Microsoft Navision integrates with Windows Vista 2007.

Can anyone give me some hint on this subject?

Which latest version release of Navision can be integrated with Windows Vista, Office system 2007 and Exchange 2007.

Anyone having some info to share on this issue.

    Go for 4.00 SP3

    But i've heard that there was an issue with the SQL option of NAV and Vista.

    Don't know if this is solved at the moment.
    Now, let's see what we can see.

    We only have 4.0 SP 1.

    This version does not integrate with Windows Vista 2007 I guess.

    If not, with which latest Windows and Office System Version will 4.0 SP1 integrate?

    There is KB download for 4.00 SP3 to solve the Vista compatibility problems (ask Microsoft for this). All previous versions are compatible with Office 2007 (I have no problems with any version we are using - 2.60, 3.70, 4.00 etc.) - or "Office 2007 are backward compatible with older versions of Office" ;-).

    So every partner needs to open a service request for that hotfix?

    Until the download will be on the System requirements page, you need to open service request. I hope that the update will be available from PartnerSource after they will "certificate" the patch as official (now it is still just KB patch).

    Expected Availability of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 and Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility – February 16.

    We are pleased to announce the availability of a Platform Release for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 that will make Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista by February 16th.The Platform Release will enable Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 customers to run on Microsoft Windows Vista.

    Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 is not compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista when installed from the released CDs or downloads available from PartnerSource.

    To be able to run Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 on Microsoft Windows Vista you will need to install Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP3 and the platform roll-up update knowledge base article 931841.
