Showing amount with $ symbol

Hi All,
The data in real is stored as 12,000 in a field. I want to show this amount in reports output with dollar symbol like
$12,000.
What should I do for this ?

If it is always dollar then you can label it and if it vary then you have to do it through code.Mukesh Sharma0

In all the transaction of foreign currency the currency code is attatched. You can write the code to print $ when ever the currency code is USD or Australian Dollar along with the currency code. If possible see the US version of Navision they have already done this.
Putting labels is no good option as it will hardcode it.CA Sandeep Singla

Thanks for your suggestions, I was not aware of that symbol functionality. Now I can even print the symbols which are not available on keyboard.
