Document Approval

Hi there
Looking at the lates (draft) price list for Nav 5, there is no mention of Document Approval granules. Although I assume it will only work in the Advanced Management edition because it will require Business Notification I would like confirmation of this. Also, will it be an add-on, like Business Notification, or included in the standard packaging?
Anyone have any info on this?

I think you're seeing it too wide.. .
It's just an extra granule in 5.0, in the C/SIDE client. No BN needed or anything. probably you can add some things in BN to link with the doc. approval functionality though.
It is a bit too soon the confirm anything, because no official granule descriptions are published yet.0 -
Hi all
Yes, my mistake. The manual on document approval mentions "setting up the notification server", hence my assumption that Business Notification was required. (as they say ... assumption is the mother of all ....)
I will attempt to post on the MS site, but the link has been dead for a while. I would still like clarification on wether it will work on the BE edition.

Hi,
As i know there are plans include document approval in NAV base.
So customers don't need any additional granules.
Email will be send using SMTP.GB0 -
Hi there
This is the response I receieved from MS, which seems to confirm it will work in BE.
"I haven’t seen it on print – but I have been assured that it would be part of BE. I would not make sense if it wasn’t – because it’s not really a granule like manufacturing."
