If you use Database logins, it fairly simple to check if a user is a member of a specific role in the security settings. You can chek this in the table 20000003 member Of.

If you use windows login its a complete different game, because you can be a member of a security group in windows, and in attain you can setup roles for security groups.

Are there functions in Attain to check if a userid is member of a specific group if you use windows logins ?
